Terms of sale

Terms & conditions

Written to be read rather than to hide behind. If anything here isn't clear, ask at the counter before you buy.

Prices

We don't publish prices on this website. Prices are given in the showroom, over the phone, or on a written quote, and are the ones that apply. Offers posted on our Facebook and Instagram are subject to availability and to the dates stated in the post. Trade prices require a valid ROX trade card.

Quantities and wastage

We'll help you calculate quantities and we'll always advise a wastage allowance, but the final quantity you buy is your decision. We'd rather you bought one box too many than one too few — a second batch may not match.

Shade and batch variation

Ceramic and porcelain vary between production batches. This is normal and not a fault. Buy the whole job in one go, and keep a spare box for future repairs. We can't guarantee a match on a later top-up order.

Checking your goods

Please check tiles for damage and shade before you leave, and before your fitter starts. Once tiles are cut or fitted we can't take them back, and we can't cover the cost of removing fitted product.

Returns

Full, unopened, undamaged boxes in a resaleable condition can be returned with your receipt within 28 days. Part boxes, cut tiles, mixed paint, special orders and clearance stock are non-returnable. We'll tell you clearly at the counter which category your purchase falls into.

Clearance stock

Clearance items are first-quality but limited to the quantity on the bay. They are sold as seen, non-returnable, and cannot be reserved or added to at a later date.

Delivery and collection

Local delivery is priced on distance and weight and quoted at the time of order. Someone must be available to receive and check the goods. Kerbside delivery only unless agreed otherwise — a pallet of tiles is roughly a tonne.

Suitability and advice

We'll give you our honest view on whether a product suits your room, your substrate and your skill level, and we'll tell you when we think it doesn't. That advice is given in good faith but responsibility for the specification and the installation rests with you and your fitter.

The fitter board

Fitters listed on the board in the showroom are independent tradespeople. We don't employ them, we take no commission, and we don't rank or vet their work. Any contract you enter is between you and them. Get your own quotes and references.

Your statutory rights

None of the above affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund regardless of anything on this page.
