Up to 1200 × 1200mm

Large format tiles

Metre-square porcelain and 1200 × 600 planks, held in stock. Fewer grout lines makes a small room look bigger and a big room look finished.

Sizes we hold

Large format needs handling and a flat substrate, so it's worth seeing the actual panel rather than judging from a 100mm sample.

  • 1200 × 1200mm — near-seamless floors
  • 1200 × 600mm — the workhorse size
  • 900 × 900mm and 800 × 800mm
  • 1200 × 300mm plank formats
  • 600 × 600mm rectified
  • Book-matched pairs on selected onyx and marble

What it needs to go down properly

Honest version: large format is unforgiving of a bad floor. We'd rather tell you before you buy than after it cracks.

  • A substrate flat to within 3mm over 2m
  • S1 or S2 flexible adhesive, not standard
  • Levelling compound where the floor is out
  • A levelling clip system to stop lipping
  • Back-buttering on anything over 600mm
  • Two people to lift a 1200 × 1200

Where it works best

Not every room suits it, and we'll say so if yours doesn't.

  • Open-plan kitchen and dining floors
  • Bathroom walls floor to ceiling, minimal grout
  • Wet room walls where grout means maintenance
  • Hallways in newer builds with flat screed
  • Feature walls behind a freestanding bath
  • Matched indoor and outdoor thresholds

Bring your dimensions and we'll work out panel count including cuts and wastage — large format wastes more than small format and online calculators usually underestimate it.

Scale

Seeing 1200 × 1200 in person changes your mind

Nobody judges a metre-square panel accurately from a photo of a sample. These shots exist so people understand the scale before they arrive.

Near-seamless floors. Two people to handle one.

Largest format

1200 × 600mm
